Creating, applying, and managing style presets requires Premium. You can still customize a basic note with the free appearance controls.

How to do it
Style a real note
Choose a readable background, font, and layout using a note with representative text. Test it at the widget size you normally use.
Save the appearance
Use the preset controls in customization to add the current style as a preset. Choose a recognizable preset name where the editor offers one.
Open a second note
Create or open another note with its own content. Go to its customization controls and select the saved preset.
Check the result with different text
Confirm that the new note’s words fit the applied font and layout. Adjust the note if its content is longer than the original.
A preset carries appearance, not the list’s job
Use a preset when you want the same visual treatment on a new note. A groceries style can work on another short errand list without copying yesterday’s grocery items.
The note’s content and the widget’s selected note are separate concerns. Applying a preset does not tell an existing Home Screen widget to switch to the new note; change its Note selection when that is what you want.
Build a small set you can recognize
A handful of useful presets is easier to choose from than many slight variations. Try one for priorities, one for quiet references, and one for personal errands if those match the way you use notes.
Save styles after checking them on the Home Screen. A beautiful preview that becomes hard to read at widget size is not a good starting point for every future note.
Review reuse rather than assuming everything will fit
Two notes using the same font can wrap very differently when one contains a long sentence. After applying a preset, check the longest line and any checklist rows.
If you use separate light and dark appearances, test both on the new note. Reusing a style saves setup work, but it does not replace a quick readability check with the new content.
Common questions
Does a preset copy the first note’s text?
Presets are for note appearance. Keep and edit the second note’s content separately.
Can I use presets without Premium?
Creating, applying, and managing presets are Premium features.
Does a preset change which note a widget displays?
No. Select the intended note in the widget’s settings independently of its style.
