Selecting notes and editing ordinary Home Screen notes are free.

How to do it
Find the note in the app
Open Sticky Widgets and confirm the note you want is in your active notes. Give it a distinctive name if several notes look alike.
Open widget settings
Return to the Home Screen. Touch and hold the specific Sticky Widgets widget you want to change, then choose Edit Widget.
Change the Note field
Select the note you want that widget to display. Tap outside the settings to return to the Home Screen.
Confirm the result
Check the displayed text. Tap the widget to open the chosen note if you also want to edit its content.
Edit text when the note is right
If the widget already displays your grocery list but you need to add milk, edit that list. Switching the Note field is unnecessary. You are changing the content of the existing note.
When you want to replace the grocery list with today’s work priorities, change the widget’s selection instead. Both notes can remain in the app, ready to use again later.
Give similar notes different names
A library containing several notes called ‘Note’ is harder to configure. Names such as ‘Groceries,’ ‘Today,’ and ‘Packing’ help you recognize the right item in the picker.
If two widgets show the same text, check whether both select the same note. Changing one note’s text affects every widget displaying that note; choosing two separate notes lets them carry different content.
Check selection before troubleshooting sync
If the note looks correct in the app but different on your Home Screen, first inspect this widget’s selection. A widget pointing to another note can look like a save or sync problem.
If the right note is selected and the widget is still stale, follow the update checklist below. Keep your existing note content intact while investigating.
Common questions
Why does tapping the widget open an editor instead of a note picker?
Tapping edits the displayed note. Touch and hold the widget and choose Edit Widget to change its assigned note.
Can two widgets display the same note?
Yes. Choose the same note in each widget’s settings. They then display that note’s content.
Why is an archived note missing from the picker?
The picker is for active notes. If you archived a note, use the app’s archived-note restoration workflow before selecting it again.
